At AGUAdeORO, luxury has never been seen as a simple matter of appearance or accumulation. From the very beginning, the brand has been built around a simple belief: luxury can also be a form of responsibility. The true value of a precious creation does not lie only in the rarity of the object itself, but in the way it is made, in the care given to its materials, and in the impact it leaves behind.
This is why every piece is created with balance in mind: carefully sourced materials, the greatest possible transparency in traceability, and a constant commitment to limiting the environmental footprint of production. In this vision, luxury is not about consuming more, but about consuming differently with awareness, intention, and respect for the resources from which it comes.
Over time, however, a question naturally emerged: if transforming the way we produce is essential, is it enough?
We felt the need to go beyond the simple act of consumption and allow some creations to contribute in a tangible way to a broader purpose. Through The Little Bee collection, we chose to support an initiative dedicated to protecting bees and their environment. Concretely, 10% of the sales from this collection will be donated to the association FREETHEBEES to help finance their projects focused on the preservation of wild honeybees and their habitats.
FREETHEBEES is a Swiss organization working to promote a different approach to bee conservation. The association highlights a reality that is often overlooked: for millions of years, the honeybee lived in the wild, nesting in tree cavities and evolving according to the natural balance of its environment. Today, those conditions have nearly disappeared. The vast majority of colonies have become dependent on modern beekeeping, while wild populations have almost entirely vanished.
In response, FREETHEBEES develops several projects aimed at restoring the conditions that allow bees to live more autonomously. One of their main areas of work focuses on identifying, protecting, and documenting honeybee colonies that still live in the wild, in order to better understand how they function and how they adapt.
The organization also works to restore natural bee habitats. This includes promoting natural cavities in trees, installing nesting structures designed to replicate the conditions of a tree hollow, and protecting old trees capable of hosting wild colonies. At the same time, FREETHEBEES encourages the development of greater floral biodiversity, since the survival of pollinators depends above all on the diversity and continuity of food resources available in the landscape.

The Little Bee collection is our way of transforming a symbol into meaningful action. Each piece of jewelry becomes a way to support these initiatives and contribute, in its own way, to the preservation of the living world.
In this spirit, the vision of AGUAdeORO naturally meets that of FREETHEBEES: rethinking our relationship with the world around us. Creating with respect, preserving with intelligence, and seeking balance rather than exploitation.
If luxury can celebrate the beauty of the world, then it can also help protect it.
And sometimes, it begins simply with a piece of jewelry
that chooses to carry a little more than a story…
